Description
- Ce petit village pittoresque est souvent évoqué par les bardes et les poètes pour sa beauté. L’œuvre la plus connue prenant pour cadre Brunwich est "Les fiançailles", une farce de Stanislas Islas. Elle a apporté une certaine réputation au village et en a fait une destination prisée par les bohémiens d'Oxenfurt, qui s'y réfugient pendant les mois les plus chauds. Pour tuer le temps, ceux-ci s'affrontent lors de concours pour choisir le plus beau couvre-chef à plumes ou organisent des chasses nocturnes dans les bois proches pour retrouver une corne dorée.
